Get Involved with the Orchestra
As the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) resident symphony
orchestra we can suggest several different types of involvement
you might like to consider, and we'll tell you how to go
about it:
How to become a member
of the orchestra (back to Top of Page)
If you are an advanced player or a semi-professional or even
professional musician considering joining the Melbourne Sinfonia,
we would like to hear from you.
Depending on the instrument you play, we may or may not have
a trial vacancy. In practical terms all you would need to
do is turn up to one of our scheduled Wednesday evening rehearsals
at the Ella Latham Theatre, Royal Children's Hospital. First, however, we
suggest you contact one of the following people to find out
about rehearsal dates and arrange attendance:
- Convenor Violin: Tony
Alexander
- Convenor Viola: Val
Lennie
- Convenor Cello: Bronwyn
Hewitt
- Convenor Bass: David
Rawlinson
- Convenor Woodwind and Brass: Mauro
Baldi
One way you can contact a Convenor is to use our Contact
Form.
