RCH and Us - Our Commitment

We are the Royal Children's Hospital's resident symphony orchestra. To our knowledge no other hospital in Australia has a resident symphony orchestra.

Our passion is music, and we give concerts to raise monies helping music therapists do their job in getting children better. We aim to give members of the hospital community, its other auxiliaries and the general public the opportunity to support the wonderful work of the Music Therapy Department as well as to enjoy our playing. We present carefully prepared programmes of great music with outstanding soloists. We welcome suggestions for additions to our repertoire, or any other activities we might undertake.
